As a style consultant and the designer and creative force behind Elaine Miller Design, (www.elainemillerdesign.co.uk), I have many years of enviable industry experience. I focus on quality and design, and bring my skills to inspire and reimagine personal styling, while working with the clothes and accessories that are already in the wardrobe.

My mission is to empower women to easily achieve the style that they love, one that really works for them and for their lifestyle. In a world where we are all increasingly aware of our footprint, I encourage clients to find clarity and to curate their collections. Many women find that this greater understanding motivates them to reimagine their image, and to shop their own wardrobes.

My closet psychology approach helps to make the most of the items you already own. I aim to inspire women to get the most from their wardrobes to save time, money and space. Gaining clarity of your current needs and lifestyle, and knowing what you own, will mean that you get more value from your possessions.

While much of my work is on a one-to-one consultancy basis, after many years of working with individual clients, I am revisiting my passion for sharing my knowledge to a wider audience. I am available to give talks and workshops for groups of women who want to have a deeper insight into their style and their wardrobes. I am currently building a body of work on this website, and later this year I am launching a series of online seminars.

My accumulated experience of creativity, image and design is currently being made into a series of books. Designing your Style, Clarity, is the first one, and is available now. More will follow in the near future.

As a creative designer I have a passion for fabric. The colours, textures and the overall feel inspires me to explore the relationship between form and image in a way that works for women of all ages.

Fashion is transient, but individual styling is something that can last a lifetime. Using design to inspire and to create a feeling of wellbeing and confidence is a concept that is constantly evolving.

The Milly&Myrtle Collection works across seasons, and is largely created from dead-stock. Items are added when they are completed, rather than strictly following the Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter pattern of the fashion world. This results in extending the life of the garments, while using fabrics that are getting a new life. A sustainable vision for you and your wardrobe.
